One thing I dislike is the small chrome “moustaches” (which seems like MSILs way of differentiating it from nexon front end), but there is always the option to plasti-dip those out.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza bookings open unofficially

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the 2022 Brezza in the Indian market later this year and according to the latest reports, some dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the new model. Dealers are said to be taking bookings for a token amount of Rs 11,000.

Last week, the Brezza was spotted during an ad shoot, giving us a clear look at all the exterior design changes. The crossover gets a completely new front fascia featuring a chrome grille and slim dual-pod LED headlamps, while the rear features slim wraparound tail lamps. The dual-tone version seen in these images has black cladding along the sides and is riding on dual-tone alloy wheels.

The 2022 Brezza is expected to use the same 1.5-litre petrol engine as the current car. It produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm. It's likely to be paired with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic instead of the 4-speed slushbox.

Same 1.5L engine as the current version? Wasn't it going to be the new K15C introduced in the XL6 and Ertiga? I doubt the veracity of this claim.

Oh Boy! Its just seems to look worse with the new leaked pictures. The front looks like a bigger version of the S-Presso. Doesnt look classy or appealing in any way shape or form. I hope the actual car changes my opinion when it launches. As of now its not looking good appearance wise.

These are unlikely to be dealer pictures. The production of the car is yet to begin in full swing. Most likely these are leaks or Suzuki sponsored scoops to generate excitement in market.

The efficiency of turbo petrols are VERY sensitive to driving style. Drive with a heavy foot and you could see single digit kmpl values. The last thing the "kitna deti hai" company wants is their car to get a reputation of "low mileage".

I used to hope for a car that has facelifted Nexon like front, but a less funky rear, and a naturally aspirated engine.

Now that wish seems to be coming true. The car looks very promising.

There has been some discussion that the upcoming Brezza will not make its way to the Toyota camp. That is, there will not be a Urban Cruiser based on the upcoming Brezza. Do you know whether this is true or not?
