I cancelled my Kia Seltos booking today after waiting for 60+ days with Epitome Kia, had booked the diesel manual HTX+. The sales advisor had promised delivery within a month. Some of the advisors are not trust worthy and their only intent is to get a booking done, guess cancellations does not impact them. One advisor from MG Hector was pushing me to book the vehicle and mentioned I can cancel it anytime with 100% refund. In my opinion they are just chasing the targets.

Kia and Hyundai are having surplus sales and they don't really care about the customers. Another modus operandi is to prioritize vehicle delivery for people who are willing to pay cash upfront. Dealers will simply deflect your booking to them and put you back on the waiting list citing some or the other reason.

Booked Jeep Compass Diesel Manual today. Found it to be much much better in every aspect, pricey though.

The situation is SAME across the country with KIA dealerships.
They don't bother whether you buy the car or not, because they have plenty in line.
I was turned around from the door itself from Crystal Kia, Pune.
I agree COVID situation is forcing them to avoid the crowding BUT they didn't even bother to note down our number and hence no on call follow ups.

Yes. I agree now. I had our CA run through this and he confirmed that it has been implemented. It is a minimum of 5% TCS if the ITR is not submitted.

He also shared a document with me. See the section at the bottom. But all these hungama despite I not taking a loan and making cheque payment

I am also negotiating my mind to finalize a petrol automatic between Seltos iVT and Creta 1.5L iVT. I would request th3 forum experts to guide me on the best among the two?

Currently, the iMT option is only available on the HTK Plus.
