Actually the front isn't bad at all, when I first saw the Creta (at its launch event in AutoExpo 2020), I thought wow this is different and looks really good (at that time i didn't even think that we're gonna endup buying a car in 2020, forget creta itself) but then the online reviews and reaction from people changed my mind a bit about the looks, it's totally subjective, but with time I actually started liking it and appreciate it for being different

When comparing to the new one to current gen creta, I feel the new gen looks more futuristic with those DRL at the top and Tucson like grill.

Maybe it's just the perception of getting something from higher segment in Creta maybe that's why. Current creta's grill makes the front look big in comparison the upcoming model in my opinion !!

This design is still better from the front compared to the current gen creta though.

They better put led projectors this time. The current LED setup is average at best according to information I gathered from multiple sources. A video on Youtube shows that these headlights are weaker than the LED projectors on the Brezza

As a sibling HMC should launch the Santa Cruz too. Car looks great and proportionate. Could be a second/lifestyle vehicle.

Maybe I am biased because of my current ownership, but I think this grill doesnt suit the overall profile in terms of the size. It looks better on say, the Tucson because it is a larger car. Perhaps Hyundai could fit this on the Alcazar instead of the Creta. The current 2020 model, looks purposefully funky. This new one looks a bit too cold and understated. The current Creta looks more Transformer, the 2022 model looks more Batman.

It seems cars will come and cars will go but the Creta will continue forever. Apparently, the current waiting period for the car is approximately around 8 months. However, nothing beats the original Creta. And headlights are supposed to be above the height of tyres in all vehicles for good visibility

Creta is one car that will sell despite how ugly it looks.

Honestly the current model looked absolutely hideous in pictures before launch. But on road, it grew on us and most of us actually have started to like it.

Creta has earned that well-deserved status like the Innova. It will sell like hot cakes. Personally, I like this new design.

2022 Facelift Creta 1.4 TGDi Dual Tone

Finally someone at Hyundai was enlightened and decided to replaced the SX Alloys with SX(O) Diamond Cut Alloys on the top model.

The front design is a welcome move, but I strongly feel the rear is better in the current gen.

I hate the new Hyundai design language. This version is only seeming better because the current one is hideous. I am not sure the "cheese grater" front grill will win me over.
Give me a 1st gen creta any day!

The facelift was pushed because of poor sales in China. Apparently the polarizing looks were one of the main reasons for the poor sales. In india this didn't have an impact and kia scored a self goal with the amazing 3 star safety rating.
For India, the facelift will probably take time since the sales are strong.
