Inside, the Kodiaq gets a dual-tone dashboard with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, a 2-spoke steering wheel, and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. It comes in 5 & 7-seater configurations and is equipped with ADAS.

The new Kodiaq might be offered in at least two different variants at launch, with the higher-spec variant getting 4-wheel drive. The SUV will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the outgoing model. It produces 187 BHP and 320 Nm and will be paired with a 7-speed DSG.

The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be launched in the Indian market around mid-2025.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift @ Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Big shoutout to libranof1987 for shooting these pictures & his coverage of the Auto Expo. Thanks for sharing, man!

The much-awaited new gen Skoda Kodiaq was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. It is expected to launch in the coming months this year. It will continue with the outgoing 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 187 BHP and 320 Nm of torque:

Design changes to the front are subtle but noticeable. You get a new grille, new headlamps and new bumper as well:

A closer look at the new headlamp design and the 5 petal design for the wheels. The wheels are primarily covered to improve aerodynamics:

The new Kodiaq’s drag coefficient has improved to 0.282:

As is the norm these days, the Kodiaq gets connected tail lamps. These look too big IMO and the outgoing car looked better in this aspect:

Interiors get a makeover. There are still some of the same old elements, but the packaging is new which makes it look premium:

The driver seat gets extendable under-thigh support:

A look at the middle row of seats draped in tan-coloured leather:

Big panoramic sunroof. Also, note that the rear passengers get sunshades:

The foldable third row of seats gets adjustable headrests:

The Kodiaq has always had good boot space. The outgoing car has a boot space of 630 litres with the last row folded:

All good, except those wheels. For me wheels are the most important aesthetics in a car and that personally is boring, how much ever drag coefficient it creates.

Other than that it’s a great product and hope they also get Sportline with black grills and better wheels.

re: 2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq spied in India

This looks great. Just a casual look at the side profile and one can instantly see the aerodynamic silhouette. Few takeaways from my side:

1. Skoda lettering on steering looks better to me than the skoda logo. Maybe since the steering was identical with lesser priced Skodas, they wanted to have a differentiation in some way.

2. The upholstery color, whilst looking classy, would be a lot easier to maintain in the long run.

3. The mobile/tablet holder on the back of front seats seems another simply clever feature. Just hoping it folds nicely and doesn't look out of place.

4. The center console looks so clean with the gear stalk on steering column.

5. Full marks on the physical control buttons/dials for HVAC.

6. Is that a sliding drawer in front of the center passenger of middle row ?

Fingers crossed on the pricing.

Skoda better make this new Kodiaq E20 compliant. The outgoing car wasn’t, and it was a huge deal breaker.

Seems there were E20 compliant/certified cars, there is a post on 2022 Kodiaq review thread Post #1415 (2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Review | 2.0L Petrol DSG). One customer got E20 compliant Kodiaq.
And given how Skoda India were proactive in getting E20 certification for 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI EVO engines, seems almost certain that this new Kodiaq would also be E20 certified.

The outgoing car that we picked up in April last year was E20 compliant -

Re: 2025 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift @ Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Good looking car with really ugly wheels, makes it look like a base spec. (I am assuming that the variant displayed at the Expo would be top of the line). I have been waiting to pick one up once launched so really hope Skoda India can launch this at a realistic price point of around 50- 55L OTR and with better looking wheels.

Did they remove those nifty neck supports? It's kind of silly but they were great and I really loved them!

I believe those are add-on aero bits that can be removed to reveal the alloy spokes if I’m not wrong.

A beautiful car , but they should have also showcased a more neutral colour for people to appreciate it more. All in all, very excited for this. Pricing is key.

Also hope they launch the Sporline variant with an option of this interior trim showcased, rather than the all-black trim alone.

*Fingers crossed*

There are spy shots of the sportline being tested in India. Moreover thats the Top spec and not the L&K in this current gen Kodiaq. Most journalists have missed this key info and have said that this is the top spec. The sportline looks gorgeous and much more complete. Fingers crossed.

Re: 2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq spied in India

Oh I feel this one is getting ugly minute by minute. Some time back, we thought we would be confused when we had to buy an SUV below 50 lacs, but we didn't take much time in finalizing upon Jeep Compass. Ooh, I would never spend 50 lacs on this.

Re: 2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq spied in India

Skoda to bring back diesel in select models.

- B9 Superb is likely to be the first diesel car launched by Skoda, it is likely to be followed by others like the Kodiaq and in the not-too-distant future.

Re: 2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq spied in India

Fascia is reminiscent of the Kushaq and they're following almost similar design across their cars, apparently! Interior is so smooth and premium

Hope to own one of SKODA cars one day to experience the plush interiors.
