What is your bet on Swift? Ain't it an example of contemporary technology? Esteem, Baleno launched a decade back but are still a better technology than many.

Don't know what parameters define "best manufacturer" here. Assuming that to be customer satisfaction in terms of product, technology, service, easy-on-maintenance, VFM, reliability etc who else but MUL ?

I would say Maruti. they put the wheels to the country.

A tough job thinking suzuki is a tiny small size car manufacturer. They did the job pretty well.

  4. Spare Parts: Spare parts are also cheaper compared to the rest. Also in performance, they are not soooo bad.
  5. Satisfaction: Most customers I've seen are very satisfied with their car.
I agree.... all the points mentioned are truee

Would have voted for Maruti 5 years ago. But with the exception of a few cars like Swift and Alto, all their models are pass their expiry date today. Voted for Honda as they have kept the market alive by introducing latest from their stable!

Voted Honda (being owner of one). But I hope that italicised font applied for 'Honda Siel cars' in the poll is a typo and not an attention grabbing stunt! Mods may please rectify.

My choice....Honda, closely followed by Hyundai. These are the 2 manufacturers who consistently deliver what the market wants (few misses not counted) at price points which make sense, whose products hold their value reasonably well.

Hyundai, mostly yes. But I am not so sure that the prices at which Honda pegs its cars make sense.
