Yeah, it is a FIAT Spyder.
The amount of area given to those beauties was sad, we couldn't take a front/full shots of many.
Mainly coz of the cars were crammed in such a small area, and there was hardly any space between the wierdo barricade in front and the wall behind.
Actually, made the cars appear like they were jailed.
Are u Karl Bhote from FCCC on orkut?

All public transport buses in dubai have electronic ticketing system, which is far simpler than the one pictured above. In fact there are no conductors in the buses. Its the driver who operates it

I had little doubt, as you were asking about the FIAT

I had a green 59 model FIAT 1100. I remember it since grand dad dropped and picked me up in kinder garden, I even learnt driving on that one while i was just 13!!
Dad gave it away to a scap guy in 2003, coz of space constraints & coz the floor completely rusted for the 3rd time, when we shifted to an apartment.
I so want to get that same model again. Any chance of getting one?

I love the front seat on that, so comfy to take your gal for long drives!!
& the sound of the engine running is very unique! and the hand gear, i'm at ease with that than the floor gear & the tail fins! I soo wish FIAT do some thing like what they did to the 500 to the 1100 too!

I have a black 56 model 1100(no tail fins on this one), but that has been standing on rocks in the garage for the last 20 years.

I'm aware of those systems,Nishant. I guess its only in India that we see a conductor in these buses. US & Europe have the same system, passengers get into a bus, swipe their bus passes or they pay the driver, who hands them the ticket. And the good thing being most buses have only 1 entry/exit,so the driver knows who all paid and who didn't.
