Plus, It's the people's car of the 1950's, its a more a nostalgic car/keepers rather than competition for the Civic/octavia. People who've had the old 500 or a FIAT are more likely to get that than people looking for an Octavia or civic.

Any one remember the old 500? I've driven in one, the 500CC engine couldn't manage a very steep slope so other had to get down or push!
I soo wanted to fix one of the diesel engine's of these 7 seater auto's and make use it.

You right. I just googled for the price and it says around 12-13L. So, how did Hindu came up with that figure? Or did I saw wrong column? Anyway sorry for the confusion, I will check tomorrow.

Today's hindu indeed mentioned about 20-22 Lakh but i think it was for Fiat Bravo

A great (?) car that set Italy on wheels much like the Beetle did in Germany. Costs 16000 dollars. So why should it sell for the price of Octavia or Civic in India ? What has Indians got to do with Italians feeling for their car ? Its the Italian 800. Built in Poland now. Has got nothing other than looking cute.

If Fiat thinks something great is going to happen with this car, they are really dumb (which they have been proving consistently).
