If you get the best parking lot, you discover in the evening that you also got the best 'bird droppings' !

Ricks are always on the rightmost lane driving slowly, looking for passengers in the other direction.

Somebody waiting on the divider to cross the road, will start moving the moment you honk! (maybe they take it for granted that you've seen them and wont hit them anyway. They stay put if you dont honk.)

This is from my personal experience...

The chances of receiving a call on your mobile in the midst of a messy traffic is very high if you happen to wear jeans, esp. a tight one!! The next day, when you deliberately take out the mobile and place it at arm's reach on the dashboard, no one remembers you. Damn!!

Very true buddy!

Sometimes, when you are stuck in a traffic jam, mobile rings & somehow you manage to answer the call, a kind lady says 'I am calling from ICICI Bank, we are offering you a Free Lifetime Card?'

At the scene of an accident, the deciding factor of who is at fault depends not on the actual circumstances but the size of the vehicles involved. As we all know, the thumb rule here is that the bigger vehicle is always at fault.

If you are the one with the bigger vehicle, you just have to try and vanish from the scene of the accident

If you happen to hit an Ex-Prime Minister's car, you probably have to end your life.

Let me add to that....
the party at fault is decided on
1 size of vehicle
  • bigger vehicle is always at fault
2 age of driver
  • younger driver is always the person at fault...especially if the other driver has grey hair!
3 gender of driver
  • female driver(esp if young and attractive) are never at fault*
this is the assumption the general public who flock any accident scene always arrive at.....sometimes even the cops!

* this point especially holds true for college girls well....have you seen how the college going girls(especially who drive scoterettes)drive! well their scoterettes have enough power to get them into trouble, but not to get them out of it. have you ever experienced this- a PYT comes across your path suddenly, sees you approaching( at a not very sedate speed) panics and stops in the middle of the road! and when you frown...all you get is a smile and a sorry!!!!!

Rule of safety on indian roads.....
when i see these on the road....i become overcautious:-
1.girls (not women-they drive more sedately and maturely) on 2 wheelers
2.cyclists(especially kids)
3.govt vehicles(those amby drivers think they own the road-esp those with blue/red lights on top and a flagpole on bonnet)!

all 3 types of drivers have no road sense at all!!!!!!!!!

2Golden rules.
When you have an accident with a girl on a scooter no one comes to your rescue when even if badly hurt but all the men go to pick up the girl.

Never ever help a lady get her scooter out in a parking lot as she will think its our duty(as though we are some parking attendants) And to top it off she rides without even thanking you.( Bloody pi$$offs)

The chances of your boss (manager/wife) calling on your mobile is inversely proportional to the distance of the nearest cop from your vehicle. (Nearer the cop, more the chance)

As you leave your house, your mom screams at you for wearing such an old ragged shirt
But you think it looks cool and is your fave shirt.
See this great looking lady walking to her bike in the parking lot

Then you

The SUV looking thing honking and flashing lights at night will be a Tata Ace.

The ported polished modded bike that just overtook you was a CT100 with a custom made silencer.

The moment you get pleasantly suprised that everyone is driving within the lines demarking lanes, you will immediately be blocked by someone driving at half your speed and in the middle of the two lane road so that you cannot overtake
