I heard that usually GM launch the same car as it launc in other countires in India too. So, it should be same car. Only doubt is 1.4 engine. 1% chance to have the 1.2 engine for FE.

Looks much much better now. But I doubt the fit and finish in India will be like the one in the pics.

Is it the 1.6L ECOTEC engine? If so, thats a hatch with more than a 100 horses under the bonnet!

Don't think that engine will make it to India though!

The car looks very good after this looks upgrade. But the chassis is still the same. This is just a cosmetic change that has taken place.
The engines are the same.

I hope the aveo sedan also receives this updated look.

I think petrol model alone is not going to do good for GM.They badly need the MJD and right pricing to give good numbers.Looks wont be enough.

GM would be well advised to bring in the 1.3 diesel version as there are currently only 2 small diesel hatches in the market and it would make sense for the underselling UV-A to make an impact with new engines and fresh looks.

I know of 5 diesel hatches: Indica, Swift, Palio, Getz, Fabia. Although the last 2 are pretty pricey.

Looks very nice from the front.

What's up with the large 2 piece front Grill - every other car manufacturer seems to go that route these days.

I somehow feel that if the Chevy logo was on the grill and in place of the logo the number plate could be fixed, the car would look much better.

Its really good design. This car really needs more powerful engine than the current UVA eninge here in India. Its really underpowered. If we get the 1.2 and 1.4 engine then it will be a nice deal.
