Hi Mav, looking at the Indian sales and analysis thread, the number of (Lancers plus Cedias) sold in Bangalore in jan-jul timeframe is 115 nos. I don't think this is a big number or much better than last year.

Not bad. If known earlier, probably i would have waited for the Climate Control. Apart from that, everything else seems to be a cosmetic change only.

Also heard of some changes to front grille. And also likely that stock HU is getting upgraded to DVD player with screen.

Climate control will anyhow will be a very sought after upgrade.

Can the current lot of Cedias be upgraded later with the Climate control feature? If yes, how easy or difficult would that be?

Dont think it will be possible, as a lot of the electricals may need to be changed. If it was possible, we would have had aftermarket solutions already. There is no dearth of business acumen in India.

My guess is there can be an upgrade possible for the Climate control. It could be similar to adding ABS on low end models at an extra cost.

After market add-ons are a different thing as they also void warranty.

Outlander will be priced between Pajero and Montero in 25-30L range. See http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...ia-year-5.html

I hope the front grill is something really nice, usually the front grill can make or break the looks of the car. So if its nice and there is no body panels to change we can atleast look at that as an upgrade to existing cars. About the mods for a climate control, never seeen it for any car, so dont know if it will be possible. My earlier reply had nothing to do with the warranty part of it, just that it may be technically and/or financially unfeasible to do it.

If climate control can be added to the existing cars, I'd be the first one to get it done.

Probably, the new grille used for one year before Lancer X rolled out in US. The current Cedia grille was criticised heavily in US as matching another US brand, and Mitsubishi changed it
