IIRC, the big dude in Mah-Ren Logan was working on tractors before....so may be that explains why they think somethings to be luxury. and he has worked on oils too...not engine oils, but FMCG...which might explain continuous penchant for new, limited, special or price cut variants.

well obviously he couldn't have priced and pitched the logan against the 800

The Special Edition Logan Edge Connect

This time its for real guys. The Special Edition Logan Edge Connect is actually special. I got hold of this pic and the new Logan sure looks different. There are even features like bluetooth connectivity in the car. Only 150 of these are being made. Launch date 19/02/2009.

If someone has anymore info, please share. I'll also post any latest info that i get.

Have they replaced the power windows switch postion? That is one of the most pathetic features of Logan.

Except the graphics that shines, I don't see any major difference in the design of the car's exterior. Which is got great minus point with the sharp cuttings. Logan is boxy...

Special Edition or regular edition looking at their state 150 cars getting sold outside Taxi fleet shall be a big acheivement for M &M . Must say this is a rare failure from Mahindra after Voyager .

One of my friend work for auto supply manufacturing company. He said Logan's quality demand is too much that they face dificulty supplying parts.

I saw a violet colored Logan, it looked cool, kind of camouflaged the boxy looks... not sure if M&M upgraded those yucky interiors!

i completely disagree here wrt the SRV example. SRV was one bad deal - really rough engine and power delivery and did not drive half as peppy as the Swift Diesel (peted maybe).

And did anyone notice that it was grossly overpriced.

Let Fiat come in with the 1.9 GP later this year (i wish) and we can see what a new innovative product can do.

Logan doesnt seem that bad to me. I wouldnt buy it in the first place due to many major flaws including the power windows switch placement and Flat seats. Hope their sales improve. Would love to see the megane in India.

The looks are just about ok but with a good modder at hand, things can improve.

Just my two cents.
