Okay the car doesnt look that bad when viewed in person at the showroom. The pdf brochure was an internal HM document which wasn't supposed to leak out.

The grill looks a bit better than the old one and the car is available only in the spirit trim. Sports may come out but not confirmed.

maybe like people have been saying they ran out of kits, etc including front grill. So they had some cheapo old grills lying around and they decided to finish them off in india given the suckers some of the performance/handling junkies are (me included), they will still buy it and modify it to their hearts content cheers:

Arre.. as has been said a 100 times already in this thread, the grills are a newer design which was forced upon Mitsubishi and has been in existence worldwide since 2005. The grills on the pre-facelift where actually the old grills they had lying around :P

Useless HM. It looks like a facehit, not a facelift!

an excellent car - but what a waste.

This is my first reply so pls bear it.

I am a big fan of mitsubihi BUT-

HM was the worst possible company Mitsubishi tied up to.

Lancer - launched 1998 - still selling the car with no upgrades.

cedia - 1 of the best cars ever driven - launched 2003 internationally but in 2005 in india. what were they doing all this time.

now this pethetic face lift, I expected an evo like face - as every one did.

and the all New Lancer - launched internationally in 2007 - may come in early next year to india.

I guess they just dont want to sell their excellent cars, by the time the new lacer come with its ridiculous asking price as is for outlander, the CITY, COROLLA, will be a great hit.

I just fell like HM.

I have also seen a lot of Lancer ES here in the US with this dirty grill, and used to wonder why did they do that kinda of a grill and was happy that in India it was better...alas I was wrong!

Cedia facelifted?

Today I found on the Road, a Cedia with new Grills, (also in the website: Mitsubishi).
Was that a complete make over, or just a Grill change? I couldn't find a post on Team-bhp, Mods please merge if the topic is already in discussion.

Thank you.

This grill looks neat and now has a more executive look. The earlier one gave a sporty appeal to the car.Nice thought from mitsu at this point. Those who did not like the earlier look of the car would turn prospective buyers now.
cheers

This facelift was a long time ago.. And the changes are only cosmetic.

A similar thread does exist on TBHP

Cedia is a good car and reasonably priced too.

So, i fail to understand why it's not selling well?

Hope after the face lift, it will sell in good numbers.

Thanked: Once

the only reason cedia is not selling well is because it's got a bad resale value and the parts are expensive too, one can get a awsome 2005-2006 cedia for 5lakhs here in cal
