Veery true. Only thing is buy it in december and do registration in 2009.

In march there was 45k discount ( max I have seen ) on NHC , so imagine what you can do now

Buy the way , talk to secondhand car dealers , Everybody will tell you that i-Dsi is legend because of it's fuel efficiency . So resell after few years will not be a problem.

I feel it is a good offer and people who are not overly concerned about resale and looking to own the car for a reasonable duration should go in for the car.

Sometime early October I was offered the NHC Vtec at effective price 8.5 lakh ex-showroom in Goa, when the official price was 9 lakh. Then I changed my mind about buying a new car, so did not pursue it.
Wonder what they are offering now?

What was the deal? How much did you pay and what are the freebies?

Makes sense - the NHC is a perfectly capable car. Furthermore, looking at the way OHC's hold their value in the used car market, I don't seee resale taking too big a hit.
For anyone who can live without the 'keeping up with the Jones'/ Sharma's' syndrome, it might make a good buy, provided the discounts are worthwhile

BTW, for Pune members: Grand Honda (which shut down a few months ago) still has unsold stock of the NHC. They should be handing out really good discounts. If anyone is looking at one, then check with them. I klnow for a fact they had a couple of Vtec's in stock a month ago, although colour options were limited.

TVS Sundaram in Hyderabad is offering a ZX at 6.67 plus alloy wheels free. But restriction is choice of colours. IMHO this is a real good deal, considering the NHC to be a great car and I am sure it will command the same resale value after 3-5 years. I would say go for it unless you do not want to be stuck with a model which is not the latest.

Congrates on your new purchase. Sx4 , NHC i-DSI both have there prons and cons. If you search old threads you will find enough material for encyclopedia

But one thing is sure. Getting all the goddies from honda at lower price is very rare. And you should definitely enjoy that. ( The additional enjoyment will come after 3-5 years if you try to sell the NHC and compare that will resell value of Sx4 )

Is 6.67 On Road or Ex Showroom? Gxi or Exi?

My Friend every price mentioned in the paper ad's are Ex-showroom. Just to get us to walk into and fall into the trap. Sorry I did not notice if it was a Gxi or Exi.

Hey Shrey - What's the offer on other models: Exi, Gxi and CVT?

As of today, the OTR for ZX Exi in Kolkata is nearly 7L (a shed more) with alloy wheels (4) and 4 years extended warranty.

Will hold on for one more week before I decide. My only problem is, the offer on my other choice, Indigo XL will end on Dec 20th . So, if I hold on for another week, I might have to let the Indigo go.

We are in the 3rd week of Dec. Anyone heard about any further discount on the Zxi?
Just received a call from one of the Kolkata dealership, EXi is no longer coming with alloys!
