Wow! You responded to a 7 year old post! I do see that you have used a Sumo Gold to traverse a big part of the southern India. I am sure you have your considerations around the merits and demerits of the vehicle. However what I said back then and again stand by it today, is that it never clicked with the masses because there were options in the same segment/bracket that offered better specs. Sumo Grande (not the regular Sumo) thus always fought with a massive handicap from the word go. That is why it vanished from the scene without much ado.

Even I was amused!

Am hunting for a used Sumo Grande MKII here in Delhi but no luck. Spotted one on OLX.. when checked, turned out it had done Delhi - Andhra umpteen number of times. Asking price for 2010 model was 3.5L..
