!!! That's more than a year from now. Not to forget the many others who also happen to be on the waiting list.

Besides, the owner/user reviews, over that span of time might just make the buyers on the waiting list to have second thoughts!!

I had booked one for my father and expect to get a delivery of a yellow LX Nano between July - September 2009.

just got off the phone with tata motors and i also am amongst first 1 lakh allottees.

am soon gonna be a proud owner of the people's car from tata. however the am not sure if this excitement will last till oct2010-nov2010

(coz that's the expected delivery date as quoted by tata motors).The executive on the phone also mentioned that tata motors will try to deliver all 1 lakh nano's by 2009 end.

am not sure how reliable their word is but let's wait and see what happens

I got an allotment of nano and as per the tata letter i am expected to get delivery of my Tata Nano LX Lunar Silver somewhere between July 09 to Sept 09.

Hi Friends,

I have got my allotment of LX - Champagne Gold. Delivery slot of July - Sept 09

Just paid a visit to Concorde motors Chennai and as expected folks there are clueless about the delivery schedule and path forward. I saw them noting down name, application number and contact number in the last pages of some random register

. I counted about 20 entries in the list. They promised to get back tomorrow after the expected list and instructions from Tata. Also did a TD of a Safari 4x4. Saw a Fiat Punto but didnot feel doing a TD. Toooooo many similar looking and priced hatch back these days

my family had put 2 applications.
both have been confirmed.

deliveries in jan-mar 2010 and mar-apr 2011.

can someone please clear this allotment mess, its very confusing,
how do tata claim that they will deliver 1 lakh cars in 2009??

One of my mates in Agra booked 4 and all 4 got passed and the delivery is in July itself !! He plans to keep 3 for the office and 1 for his personal use for bringing Sabzis from the market !! LOL

I think some will "re-sell" the allotments for a premium.

Any Idea if Nano is getting any changes in specs after this first 1 lakh allotments ?

Delivery by Jan 2011 to March 2011! And ex-showroom price will be applicable on date of delivery
