Model specific Indian car sales - 2009

I am impressed with the Indica sales. Shows there is still faith in Tata. However it would be nice to get a breakup of normal Indicas and Vistas. Especially getting rid of taxi sales which might be skewing the results. Are normal Indicas still being produced these days? I've hardly seen any Vista's in Bangalore so somehow I feel the Indica numbers are not very indicative of Vista sales.

Nope the safari was offically an 8 seater till they rearrange the rear seats as 1+1 from the earlier 2+1 (earlier one of the two rear seats was of double width.)

oh, dint notice yours is the 2.0 safari, i thought you had the 3.0 safari.

Great Work Karpusv and Krishna,

Krishna your graphic analysis truly helps to see the picture at a broad level. The sales charts for i20 are what each MD would like to see of his company.

Estilo has done well with the new model launch.

Surprise for me has been Optra sales. It has almost doubled. Thought people would be waiting for Cruze to launch or is it on account of discounts being offered.
