i won't mind paying 75k extra for air bags but may not pay it for tft monitor (3K), video cd player (7k), lather seats (10k), mag wheels (15k) (total 35k-40k).

It also features some nice skirting on the bumpers and the sides.

What it DOESNT have, but could do with are the wheel flares that come on the new Indica. That would make it look just right, but the dealer says he will fit those on if the customer requests for it.
Hi Steeroid,

Couple of questions for you

1. can you give m ereference of dealer who could fit Indiaca wheel flares on to Indigo, I spoke to Concorde Hyderbad, they mentioned its not possible.

2. Are you aware if Tata is going to come out with Marina SX too?

Thanks in Advance

I too remember seeing Indigo with similar features.not all, only VCD, TFT and leather, 10 CD changer, Fridge etc earlier but SX is different beast with diif bumber/look

The dealer who said the Indica wheel flares can be fixed (obviously at a cost) is RF Motors in Cochin.

I havent really shown an interest in the Marina because I'm not particularly fond of estates, but I could ask...I'm going to the Safari launch party today.

Verrrryyyy interesting move by Tata. Already the Indigo has supreme ride quality, fuel efficiency and interior space. I can personally vouch for the back seat comfort over long distances.

And now a fully loaded variant offering all the bells and whistles for 6.xx lac rupees.

I am seriously contemplating one for my family. With the primary purpose of a daily rough use workhorse (i.e. protecting my other steeds from silly high-wear duties)

Which version are you looking at, the petrol or the diesel?

Tatas are best had in diesel powerplants only. No one buys these for performance or refinement, might as well enjoy the low running costs and driveability of the diesels.

Hi,
I booked this GSX on 14th august. Though, there is no big change in petrol version but it mets euro-III norms and it is a bit tuned car. Tata has removed all the flaws in this car. Since i am new to drive and love power & performance i prefered petrol over Diesel. This is the best buy car for me in this segment. I cancled the idea for swift & getz as they are hatchback.
Well i wonder abt max's comment over price - As per my calculation - leater seat - 21K, Electric mirror-3750 each, 14" Alloy with goodyear tyre - 18500, Driver seat height adjuster - (dont know the price), centre arm rest, fog lamp, awesome red color (which is unique in TATA cars) , Kenwood VCD with nippon speakers and lcd screen - 30000. this i confirmed in the market....and i asked abt original parts..not local one.

amitabh, the kenwood vcd player supports mp3 also?
As for the alloys, without the tyres they would cost around 13.5K. So if we say that per tyre price increase was 500rs, and rims cost 800rs, the total cost increse would be about 12K and not 18500. If tyres are same as used for LX then the cost increase would be around 10K.
