Both the designs look good to me! not discounting the fact that both the cars have attributes / styling copied from multiple cars -- but they look good! AVEO definitely looks sporty in my opinion. Hope they will give the right engines + price. Seeing their strathegy in the last year, they cant go wrong with these two cars -- let the COMPETITION heat up!

I guess some Hyundai designers jumped ship to GM, where they introduced the concept of "inspired" design.

Seriously, if this think looks like it does here in it's production avatar, Mitsubishi should be furious. As far as grills and bumper designs are concerned, most car companies have a signature style. I would have hoped that GM had better sense. On the other hand, this might be the idea form the bean counters who said that design is an area that can reduce costs by copying.

Seems like a Cocktail of Mitshubishi EVO + Suzuki SX4 + Optra + Beat

Mixed and match like crazy but surely these two will be two good looking cars. now if hopefully GM puts in decent engines in them and does away with the pathetic gearboxes they have been using.

The Aveo RS hatch is a very good looking car and will be a hot seller if launched with proper engines. The sedan's side profile looks similar to the VW Vento.

i loved the design. It really gives that mean look to the car! But then lets hope the end result is not as disappointing as the beat

The concept car looks better than the production version.

Looks like they managed to mess up the front -- It looks odd now.

Cant imagine this design comes from a company who designed beat as well!

Hope they get atleast the sedan look better.

The rear design also looks very odd. The Engine option both in diesel and petrol seems to be good. But dont think the same will come to india. I think Indian edition(hatch) will have the same petrol engine of BEAT.

GMI needs this car FAST. 1.2 petrol 88 hp version will suffice, also the press release talks about a 1.3 diesel, could be the same multijet from Fiat.

They screwed up the entire design, the production version lacks the aggressive looks of the concept. If they could make the Beat look true to its concept why couldn't they do the same with the Aveo.

For a 5 lakh rupee hatch, this looks really good and different.

The front it does remind me of the Polo, only much more aggressive.Looks good although i guess 5 lakhs will be its base model with the top end around 6.

Brilliant transition from the last generation of aveo designs. It falls well in-line with chevrolet's new styling themes.

I own the last gen aveo hatch, exchange offer please....
