How much can we expect for a 2003 Corolla? ODO readings are not known since I am yet to meet the family friend who is selling it. |
For 2003 Corolla with ODO around 65000 kms a fair price would be 2.75 L to 3.25 L for a well maintained car.
Hope this helps

What would a 10 year old Mercedes E 220 diesel cost? And where should I look for one?
Sold my Maruti Zen VXI 2000 model (bought in 2008) for 99k.
Odometer reading : 88,200
Place: Bangalore
Looking to take a family relatives Sep 2009 i20 AT Asta 17k km (Mumbai) up - they are moving to the US and are asking 4.5L for it. Apart from some depressing physical line-scratches (common by beggar kids in Mumbai) the car seems in good shape except for a small rattle when driving over rough roads. Will get this checked to confirm the steering issue. Is this a good price for a good vehicle? Id love a city but dad confirms its OOB (out of budget).
Thanks guys!

You should be looking at 8-10 lacs for a well maintained one. We recently .bought a 2000 W210 E220, done 50 k (genuine mileage verified with Merc) for 9.7 lacs. You should get the vehicle completely checked at a Merc Authorized service center..
Wonder how much a well-maintained 2006 Baleno VXi BSIII (Climate control, leather seats) + K&N conical kit would sell for, clocked 35000 kms.

it indeed is a good price. check to make sure that it is free of the steering rack/rattle issue and get the current owners do a touch up on scratches before selling.
and you won't get the current generation City AT in this budget; you
would get a 2007 City AT for around 3.5-4.0 lac if you are interested in that.

Hi jony, As you are aware, it's a bad time to sell your petrol sedan & that too a discontinued model. I guess it will fetch you max. about 1.75L to 1.9L. I suggest you convert it to CNG,provided you have CNG stations in Siliguri
Regards,
Varun

Hi Deepak, as infotech said, it seems a very good price. Minor scratches & dents is part of a car's life in Mumbai. From your description, it does seem like a steering issue. Sort it out before you buy it. And remember to check the car's service history, however close the family member is.:)
Hope this helps,
Varun

Thanks Varun. I am planning to sell it. There is no CNG here in Siliguri and more importantly, I would not want to drive a CNG Baleno :D
Cheers!
Guys, i wanted to know what would be the fair price for Toyota Fortuner 3.0 4X4 july 2010. It has done 12000 km and is in mint condition. Always has been parked in a garage. Save for a few minor scratches the exterior is in perfect condition. The vehicle is located in Patiala. Planning to swap for a BMW.

Thanks for the reply.I am in the process of working out the economics of owning a new 8-10 Lac sedan vs a Mercedes over 10 years. Did you have to spend much on repairs or something?

Actually No. We are just doing the routine 5K service. Do note, this is not our daily driver, for that we have an Innova. Also,we do the servicing from an independent garage
Our running for the Merc is close to around 800KM/Month.
W210s are quite reliable. However the consumables are expensive like any Merc.
Have been on hunt for a well maintained Cedia since few months. Currently there are only 2 Cedias listed in Hyderabad.:deadhorse
Below are the details:
Year - 2006
Color - Yellow
Variant - Sports
No. of owners - 2nd owner (current)
Mileage - 93614
Asking price - Rs.3,35,000/-
Accessories : JBL Woofer, Amplifier with 6 Speakers (2 Tweeters), Sound Proofing done for all four doors. Reverse Camera, Video Screen, Sports Pedals and Gear Shaft
Replacements : New Set of Yokohama S-Drive Tyres, New Clutch and New Battery
Comments : This one must have been been thrown to a lot of abuse. It has been on the listings since more than 2 months. Not sure the condition of the vehicle though.
Listing 2:
Year - 2006
Color - Black
Variant - Sports
No. of owners - Single
Mileage - 61000
Asking price - Rs.2,80,000/-
Accessories : Music system (JBL)
Comments : Was uploaded on the listing site two weeks back. Delhi registration. Looks neat without any modifications except a music system with a boom box (assuming) fitted in the boot.
Request all the Gurus to advise if the pricing is correct. I am more inclined towards the black one but little apprehensive on the Delhi registration bit. Not sure if it has a detailed service record which the yellow car doesn't. Please provide your inputs on the pricing and other bits.
Should I go ahead and test drive both the cars and get them checked along with a mechanic ? Is it that only a Mitsu specialist can check and tell the condition ?
Please advise.
Cheers
