Re: December 2010 : Indian Car Sales Figures

For the first time I saw a Yellow beetle on road, near Secotr 58, Noida. Few people from HCL BPO turned head as they never seen it before and the first comment was " What a waste of money...Few people have too much money to waste on such cars "

On a serious note chaps, what possessed these people to bomb all this money on a 10yr old car ( whose production is ending)? I mean, go buy 500. Its new and really funky in and out. I wouldnt mind putting money on that. If that wasnt enough its based on the old Skoda.

Well at least its easy to spot them..

To be honest I too think the same.
For 15 Lacs I would go for Laura/Yeti/Civic/Cruze/Vento/T-Jet/FiestaS but a 75BHP toy is not my piece of cake. IMO VW beetle is a much better option (for women). It is a style statement. It has badge value.

It bet Fiat 500 has the least power to price Ratio.
