Just got out the best one snapped there. This one ought to be the winner of MIMS 2011.

The Beetle looks like cabrio version of Herbie. Remember Herbie and the drooping eyes.

I am really surprised that this was the state of the Mumbai auto show. Considering it is Mumbai, i expected it to be much better. If this is what it is coming to, good exhibitors will stop seeing India as an avenue to show case their products

Yes, as the board says, it is the Beetle Cabriolet, the Herbie version. Damn cute including its yellow and white color combination on body and seats. Other than this lot, there was hardly anything to see in the MIMS. And yes, the M&M Thar 4X4 ride experience is atleast worth mentioning and quite a lot people were queued up for it.

Not really, just go visit the bi-annual Auto Expo in Delhi! There's more than enough to keep you busy (with some drool thrown in) for atleast 2 full days, if not three. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit in '09. Only area that needs improvement is the crowd management. Nevertheless, a MUST-VISIT for any Indian petrol head.

Any news of the re launch of the Vespa brand?Read somewhere they will start production that retro styled scooter soon.

I asked the vespa guy about the pricing. he told me that not much cant be said because it will be launched in india only in late 2011 or early 2012.
and yes, the production will start in india soon.
