thats neat

that really neat and beats any criticism posted above. I saw one on road here in Kolkata a couple of days before. I had not heard about it before. So, the first thing I did after coming home was googling it. I had managed to read Sonalika.

I at first thought it was modified/refurbished qualis or something, but then noted the name written Sonalika and Rhino.

Lets hope these homegrown stuff succeed.

Cheers

Saw one in Mehdipatnam yesterday. Looked pretty neat from outside. It appeared to be used as a family car. I felt the looks were better than Qualis.

I am seeing one in my vicinity for the past couple of days. I am wondering how that person managed to get it in Mumbai? Don't think that there's a dealership here!

I hope not! Not with this vehicle.

Its not all fairy tale stuff as seem from outside. Inside fit and finish and quality of materials are really bad. Looking at the door panels, and the way beadings and door lock sticks out to nowhere, felt somewhat like being inside a big Maruti 800.

The Sumo Grande offers a much better deal at the price, IMHO!

I have seen asset auto when it was still a Mahindra dealership (about 2.5 years ago). Its almost on the road! From Mahindra to sonalika? Man, the commission must be too good to resist!

i saw one on vasai on friday. Looked a bit funny and asymmetrical. Felt like it could topple anytime.

But someone made a very good point here. Th rhino may fill the vaccum thats created after the qualis is off the market. We may get to see a lot of Rhinos as tourist cars now.

I doubt it will. Tata has just launched the Sumo Grande which is an excellent option for 7 seaters. The Rhino is simply a sub-standard product.

Even though Sumo Grande isnt exactly top class its a whole lot better than the Rhino. To put it lightly 'It has the most pathetic quality interiors I have ever seen in a car'.. even the piaggio commercial 3 wheeler has better quality plastic inside.

Had seen a few Rhinos on Delhi roads some months back. They made a sudden appearance and it looked like they were ready to take on the taxi market. But now they have disappeared as abruptly as they appeared.

I had seen one a couple of days back and it looked battered, like a decade old vehical.

If that is the build quality then I dont see the future for Rhino.

I see a lot of exagaration here.

Sumo Grande is not all that bad in build quality.

Rhino would not even come close to the TATA Ace build quality.

I consider Grande on par with the Mahindra Scorpio MHwak.

Altough Grande has a better engine and geabox compared to the present day scorpio.

@pavan... you have got me wrong there. I am talking about rhino's quality.
