Correct Mclaren. No FRP doors allowed. They have to be as supplied by the factory. This is a vital safety parameter which goes for a toss as we've seen previously. The windows, front & rear windscreen have to be OE as well.

Also, in the unrestricted class, if they are running no doors, they must have a roll cage.

Bonnet can be lightened though, so carbon fibre hoods ok!

from airoli brigde take directions for bombay pune highway....and you will reach kharghar..make sure you do not use the flyover on the highway near the semiens building that is the kharghar flyover...take a left from under the flyover..and you would reach kharghar...now i am not excatly sure where in kharghar it is going to be held.

Rtech, one more question: the Indian Car Foreign Engine class has been scrapped. Can these cars run in the Foreign Car category? That class's rules state that no car can have an Indian engine. Can the car have an Indian body? Or is it Unrestricted only?

Indian car with foreign engine can only race in the unrestricted class.

sAP, read closely, it should say applications for licence will also be available on the spot. They will give you another few pages for the MAI form, and you pay a little extra...

Thanks. That's as convenient as it can get. I suppose thats the way it works for the motor insurance as well? (pay for the day?) PS: Didn't find that *spot availability* in Rtech's original post.. are u referring an alternate post?
