Formula cars will be available for rentals if we have enough numbers wanting to try them out. Apart from that it is just as good as any other illegal track day we have been to.

PS: Some of the rally guys will be joining us too.

Erm, I really don't know the rates at MMST, or how you can compare them, because last time I paid 1k for a day. But they have an individual pay-and-practice system in place, so it would be unfair to compare.

Well, IIRC MMST also costs around 35-40k to rent it for the whole day. Also, you paid 1k for half a day. For a full day it will be 2k. Approximately the same that might work out to at KMS.

Haan baba, but that's with marshalls and ambulance and tow truck and all the bells and whistles. Anyway, what's the point debating? Let me see if we can get something cheaper, otherwise we had all better be prepared to pay 3.5k or something per day. :(

Akshay I was referring to the arrive and drive that happens on illegal track days for 1k for half a day. And with legal, organized track days the number are far greater to be able to get those costs. I don't know which one of us is getting confused here. And hiring a track for a day (both MMST or Kari) does not include marshalls, ambulance or tow truck. All these expenses are accounted for separately.

I am in depending on the dates. please put me on the list. I am going to bring my ikon, guess the only ikon on track but before that could experienced guys give some info on how to get my car ready for the tracks. What sort of prep is needed. Since this is my first time i am not looking at any records. Just to get the feel.

Never been to a track day earlier, roll cage, Marshals, Ambulance - looks all serious stuff. Exciting and scary, can't make up my mind!

Anyway, How much are the rental FISSME cars for?

Anywhere I can educate myself more on all I need to know...
