Mitsubishi Cedia : Great driving Challenge.

Hi bhpians,

I am associated with the Great Driving Challenge campaign and with the permission of team-bhp admins, I am here to listen to your queries, guide you on how to be a better participant for this contest.

If you notice on the homepage of the TGDC website, we have linked to our presence on orkut, facebook, twitter .etc. Do read them and you can find several tips on how to get more votes.

Moreover, votes is not the only criteria, so guys work out on your applications to impress the jury members.

Since, the closing date is approaching fast, check out the percentage completeness of your application, it does not have any spell error, if you are putting links in your application put them at the end as reference like wikipedia. Also, add the flickr photo album to showcase your travel and driving passion.

Hi guys,
We are sending SMS with instructions to verify your mobile number. Please do verify your mobile number.

Notes:-
1. Make sure who has applied for the contest (who signed up and created the application) has provided a mobile number. If you do not have a mobile number, you can add your partner's mobile number, so that we can verify it.

2. We will send the verification SMS only to the mobile number of primary applicant and not to their respective partner. So please cross check your application.

3. We send out SMSs in daytime preferably in the morning. So, by tomorrow morning each should get an SMS. If you do not receive it by tomorrow, do notify us.

I am being spammed on my email address by candidates.
For examle Tirthankar Basu has mailed me twice in 2 days. Is the mail auto generated from site or are members spamming themselves.
In either case, please be aware that we will vote on our own. Spamming our inboxes for vote requests will only prompt most members not to vote for the particular candidate

I saw few advertisements regarding this challenge! Looks interesting. WISH I knew driving I would have achieved maximum number of votes.

tsk1979: Regarding spamming can you list every candidates who are sending multiple emails ? Thats should help potential voter to decide whom to choose. Why mention only one name ?

I feel multiple emails may be because of technical issues as well. Same email went twice. or same email id got entered twice in the list. or same person having different emails listed in the batch while sending emails. I receive lot of emails every day and never treat them as spam since its common to most of email accounts.

So which TBHPian is leading in challenge ?

I cannot mention multiple names because till date I have received no mails from any candidate, except for 2 mails from one candidate.
I do not have anything against any candidate, and have indeed voted for almost all the candidates on this thread. But unsolicited mail for voting requests is not to be done. Once was okay, but when I got mails twice from same candidate it troubles me.
Secondly I must have voted for 15-20 people till now. If all of start sending me emails I am going to me mighty upset.
Think if it this way.
If 50 candidates from this site filled your PM boxes.
We have this thread for garnering votes, and every TBHPian has the opportunity to make their pitch here. No exceptions to that. So candidates, please don't mail PM us. If we want to vote for a TBHPian, we will vote

on a second note - i have no clue how did they find my office email id.
