MMST Track day on July 11, 2010

Hi Guys, this would be my first taste of a track day. Count me in.
I have a 2009 Honda city, done about 17k kms. Anything specific I should know/do to prepare for the tracks?

One more VTEC coming up!!!! Im pretty much in, this time.

Time to give the OHC and G3s a real workout.

any size is ok goutam even 14 inchers will do. just need tyres that will hold up to track abuse. thanks

Ride shotgun with some blokes who have already done this and learn the "lines". It would be a lot more fun if you do when you drive on your own.
Drink water lots of water (especially if you are planning to do this with the A/C off) its gonna be very hot inside the car.
Bring a helmet as its mandatory.
No loose objects inside the car.
Get a routine check done on the car (to make sure all is well)

The way you drive I guess the only tyre you are gonna mess up is the left front.

Seems so! 7 out of 15!! And 4 out of those 7 are vtec!

Ha ha! I am wondering whether to bring my mighty 45 bhp car or the 7.7 bhp bike to the track - just to watch the fun and meet you guys, of course. But a trip to Pondy is being planned for Sunday, and if it is on, won't be able to make it to the track. Would not like to miss an ECR drive for anything!

Hey! Can someone tell me! Do we have a petrol pump close to the track? IIRC there was one next to the track, IOC or BP I think!!

Also, if IOC, will I get XtraPremium or if BP will I get Speed!

Can someone plz. confirm!!

There is a pump. Chances are you will get Speed (for obvious reasons)
Never been there so don't know for sure.

Normal petrol won't do ?

It most definitley will, however, I was just a bit skeptical about the quality hence did not want to risk, thereby, asking for Speed!
