Hmm so Christmas Special would be in Feb & not in Dec as few reports have already suggested. So no TG in 2012

There is a Top Gear 'Bond Special' that is going to be aired on BBC tonight at 9pm(British Time)

Richard is going to be driving some of the iconic bond cars and a amphibious lotus built by TG!! Not a typical Top Gear episode, but I am certainly not complaining!!!

Seems it is not for India :-(. Tata Sky does list this in program list for any of BBC channels.

Anybody watched the Bond special yet? Its quite good and the name given for the Invisibility system made by Hammond made me literally roll on the floor!

I saw it too. It was really entertaining. Definitely a must watch for any Bond fans.

Saw the Bond special last night. Was the invisible van also featured earlier in TG? I am not able to put a finger down on episode/season, but I have a feeling, I have seen this before!

Come to think of it, these were some of the most impractical cars and it would have been immensely more enjoyable if the world's most impractical man were to host it.

Invisible ? I havent watched the Bond special yet. But, an invisible car was shown in the "Topgear at the Movies(2011)" by Captain Slow. Is it that one you mean ? The one with cameras on the other side .

It was a Ford Transit with Plasmas and Cameras on its sides. The image from the left camera was shown on the right side panel and vice-versa.

You mean Ford transit was shown in Bond special or ?

As far as i could remember, in the 'Topgear at Movies' , it was a car rather than a van.

Yes, Ford Transit was there in the Bond special. If it was a car, then I guess we are talking about different ones here. Let me try to dig a little and see if there was anything of this sort earlier or I am mistaken.

Haha. let me know if you find out. I have seen the entire series, but forgot most of the episodes. Need to start all over again
