about Top Gear, I'm happy that ended this season with a good one. TASHAN between Richard and Jeremy in the race was awesome.

In a recent interview with a South African radio show, Clarkson mentioned that Top Gear won’t be returning this year, presumably due to the Olympics. So a long wait for the next series - 2013?

Guess that is partly true. No regular season this year but there might be a Christmas special as per Jeremy's Fan page update on FB (http://www.facebook.com/JeremyClarksonFanClub)

yes, no regular season. Its just going be a Christmas Special. It's going to be a long wait

TG had plans of airing a Christmas special in dec and start regular season from Jan but there's a delay. Christmas special will be aired only in Feb. So no TG in Dec and Jan

If you're talking about S19, they didn't come on-air this year cos of the Olympics. Most prolly TG will "resume normal service" in 2013

Yes. They had mentioned they wont be airing this year because of Olympics but Christmas special would be aired in Dec and normal season in Jan. But the latest report states that Christmas special will be aired only in Feb and normal season will be after that. So maybe March.

There had been rumors that the legendary motoring show - TOP GEAR had come to an end and Jeremy, Hammond and May had retired from the show. Its been almost a year since the last season was shown on television.

As BBC Entertainment had started showing the program in India again after a gap of almost 7 or 8 years (earlier shown on BBC World), it was very sad for TOP GEAR fans when the rumors of the end of the show cropped up.

But there is good news. BBC Entertainment has updated on the Facebook page that the trio has signed contracts for at least 3 more years for doing TOP GEAR.

I read up on wikipedia a few months back. That they'd air a christmas special and a new season starts in jan 2013

Good to know Top gear is not over yet. But even the three years look very short, its a lovely show and wish it goes on for ever

Perfect timing ! Just when I was beginning to wonder almost every other day as to what is with Top Gear and why aren't any updates on their FB page about the Christmas special and the next season. Thanks for informing. For me it still is THE best show. It's more than just a car show. There's loads of entertainment packed into it.
