You can subscribe to Discovery + its an addition to Amazon Prime. Costs around 300 rupees a year. It has some of the Top Gear seasons but am not sure if it has all.

I'm a subscriber to Discovery+ and watch TG. The following are what's available:

Top Gear ft. Clarkson, Hammond, May
Season 13 to 22

Top Gear ft. Harris, McGuiness, Flintoff
Season 27 to 29

These are heavily edited. No news, And no guests. Very annoying.

I've only been watching the new seasons and I assumed that's their new format! Moving some of those to their YT channel. Isn't it?

Just diverting the conversation to the new trio back at Top Gear, Chris, Freddie and Paddy. It's departed from the original we love, but it's a properly brilliant show again. The first season with the three was a bit of a curve, but it's amazing now.

The Nepal special is just fantastic! Comparable to maybe the Botswana special. That good.

If you've been avoiding the new TG because it doesn't have the original trio, you're missing out. I'll step out as far as to say that the current TG is better than TGT.:Shockked:

I agree with you, its much more realistic, the camera work is just as good and there is a great rapport between the three!

Just finished watching the new episode on Prime.

I just wanna say this, it's FANTASTIC.

The trailer for the next episode of The Grand Tour is out - this time from Scandinavia. Recent Grand Tour specials have all been forgettable one-time watches, hope this is different.

Totally agree with what you said. I had the exact same comment when i shared the trailer with friends on WhatsApp.

The grand tour has returned for the 5th season. The new episode Scandi Flick is available on Amazon prime.

The Scandi-flick turned out just as I expected. Entertaining but certainly an one-time watch like a lot of recent Grand tour episodes. To be fair, they originally planned to shoot this in Russia but got delayed first due to COVID and then the war, so they shot it in Scandinavia instead but it never feels like they are in the wilderness, unlike the TG Polar special. The shops they visit, the workshops etc. are a far throw from the third world workshops in the TG specials of yore. Also, it seems Jeremy has gotten into a comfort zone - in the Madagascar episode, he showed up in a Bentley Continental and in this episode, it was a comfy RS4. It does show how far cars have progressed though as back in old TG episodes, the 10-15-year-old cars seemed properly beat up but in this episode, it's scarcely able to believe that all the three cars are almost 20 years old!

The trio (or duo) talk about their cars after the special. Hammond plans to keep and built up the Subaru in his workshop.

It was total rubbish. The tunnel scene was a bit irresponsible. It took me three sessions, the first two of which saw me falling asleep to complete watching this

Didn't want to talk about that in my earlier post since the episode had just dropped and it'd have been a potential spoiler.

I still remember thinking how can this possibly be safe when they first introduced this challenge, I was just holding that thought when May crashed onto the wall. Seems like they were being reckless just to compensate for the dropping viewership. I remember that the BBC has very strict health and safety rules that Clarkson kept cribbing about. Seems like Amazon doesn't have the same kind of stringent guidelines.

The Grand Tour just doesn't have the production quality of the erstwhile Top Gear despite the infinite budget provided by Amazon.

These guys were really good when they were in TopGear. Now you can just watch these episodes once, unlike the seriously engaging car reviews in old TopGear. Looks like the best of the TopGear team stay in BBC only. I agree with others that this new episode is borderline boring.
