With this second lockdown and production closure current bookings will push the current booking to first quarter of 2022.

Also there will be a price increase as well which might not work in the favour of Creta.

They have already Alcazar in pipeline and updated Verna in line too.

Are the headlamps now positioned inside a recess within the front bumper? Sure hope so! The earlier one had headlights sitting flush with the bumper, which in our bumper to bumper traffic could get damaged pretty easily.

I also hope Hyundai comes up with a richer interior too.

Maybe this is one reason why Hyundai sells like hot cakes. Their cars receives timely updates to remain current with the trend and also remain in the news domestically / overseas. Regardless of the polarized opinions the current gen Creta received, it still sells like there’s no other car in segment

Have you seen big brand in India like Maruti being in the news of late? I can only recall 2 bits I saw on this forum that is - Ciaz with Toyota badge, WagonR electric (forgive me if I’m mistaken) by Toyota again. Their lineup is literally dead in terms of freshness it brings to the market.

Hyundai has a strong strategy - be it with ICs / electrics, their future around the world is pretty secured as I think. Hope they competitively test cars with GNCAP and reveal their interest towards safety aspect too.

The rendered images gives it a more discreet look compared to the existing ones. The ones posted by CrAzY_dRiVeR and Turbokick will have more takers (not in terms of sales) in terms of design

But this facelift is coming quicking considering the two lockdowns impacting the sales in 2020 and 2021.

I don't believe this facelift is coming to Indian Shores anytime soon.

The updated Creta was launched just last year, and it is selling in spades.
I don't think Hyundai has any reason to launch a facelift so soon.

We can't be sure. Hyundai has been updating the Creta every 2-3 years from its release. They sure don't want to stale out their high selling products, though we may feel its too soon for a facelift.

We got the new Creta one year after ix25 was launched in China. So expect the same with the facelift too.
Hyundai does launch facelifts on time and usually they launch it even when the current model is selling in good numbers. I am expecting early 2023 as the launch time. The new instrument cluster from the Alcazar with 360 degree+lane watch camera’s and a better looking front is going to increase the waiting period even more.
