One should see that space management in the car, It looks so small from outside, but on the inside it looks supremely spacious.
And thats a good thing, coz anyone buying this car would want to spend as much time as possible sitting inside.....just to avoid looking at it. Haha

Any idea where were the pics taken? I see what looks like a Mahindra Bolero in the last pic.

BTW, everyone seems to have their mobile cameras out to take pics of this unusual car !!

That's a Mercedes G Wagen in the background.

If as you guys say the pictures are of a S Class concept car then I'd say the following:

1. Mercedes is worried about where the S Class presently is and doubt if a replacement evolved from the present mix would survive the sales race

2. Gameplan is to offer a complete rethink of what a luxury sedan in the 21st century should be

3. Focus on smaller lighter engines giving out requisite power. Use of hybrid technologies ie petrol and gas etc or electrics

4. The concept car has to shock people into realising this is a revolutionary rethink of the S Class and I think they achieve the shock value

5. The concept to showcase cutting edge new tech. Notice the high central sill. Perhaps unheard of and unrivalled safety elements? The four cylinder is a powerful statement about low reliance on fossil fuels.

Notice the super flexible rear seating arrangement. Two people can work at workstations while chatting, looking at each other. Wild. Ultimate business tool

In summary, high shock value, revolutionary tech, rewriting luxury car rule book.

Will Mercedes succeed? Knowing the company and its products I think they will.

If the concept is received well Mercedes will tone down the drama in the styling and come out with something awesome. My opinion

It is possibly Dubai, going by the number of Indian looking people I also see a Toyota/Lexus board in the background.

I am sure this would not be the next S Class! It looks way too weird to even be a proper car.

Maybe its a prop in some forthcoming Hollywood movie.
