Fiat India is pretty shortsighted, they should have given the new dash long ago.

Fiat Brazil is really proactive, they have launched upteen new versions and facelifts to the Palio.

It's all about "New" Palio
The interiors though decent, looks dated and in the league of Hyundai Accent. These kinda interiors belong to an bygone era. Nonetheless, they are better than the existing beige ones in Palio Stile.

I agree, Fiat India sure seems shortsighted, the Brazilian Palio looks a good 20 years ahead of the Indian one on the inside.

i guess FIAT will be using the Palio to battle with the likes of the i10s and WagonRs in India. The petrol simbling to be precise will take on the motor cans of Maruti and Hyundai while the new grande punto will battle with the Swift and i20 (fabia to an extent) in the higher segment.

While the GP in person can beat the likes of the Swift or the i20 in the looks department (did i mention the handling and the engine and the interiors) - this new Palio can hold its own against the i10 and the Wagor R (Ritz in the future).

IMHO though this new Palio has a reto approach to the hot hatch - its looks kinda good actually. (and honestly will do well to target the new segment which it will be relegated shortly)

i still think th 1st gen Palio had some rather nice lines... they should bring back a limited edition 1.6GTX SP.. like the S10 500 nos... I know i'll buy one of them!
Count me in too. Wish they do that. Will they?
I guess not.

The 1st gen palio has a more racier stance and looks to kill.
