1938 American Bantam.
819 cc carbureted 4 cyl. Like the earliest Willys station wagons, a transverse leaf spring in front, Hotchkiss axle in the back.
However it is a cabriolet.
Harit has a fixed head coupe.
Here is Harit's rare American Bantam, to be restored.

22 bhp, 50 cu. in. inline four-cylinder engine, one-barrel carburetor, three-speed manual transmission, beam-axle front suspension with transverse leaf spring, live rear axle with quarter-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel mechanical brakes. Wheelbase: 74.5"

The American Bantam was initially based on the tiny 1922 Austin Seven and built in Butler, Pennsylvania under license from American Austin. Despite a solid, economical product, the company’s sales were slow, and most Americans chose the larger, less expensive Model A.
The company halted production in 1934 and returned in 1937 with restyled and reengineered cars. Alexis de Sakhnoffsky penned the definitive Bantam design, a charming blend of curves and colors that remains captivating today, while Roy Evans came up with a redesigned engine. Production finally ceased for good in 1941 with relatively few examples built. Unknown at the time, strict WWII gasoline rationing would soon create a high demand for Bantams as highly economical and practical used cars.
This American Bantam Roadster is a wonderful example that benefits from an older restoration, which was completed about 15 years ago and has held up wonderfully since, with few signs of aging. It has been driven few miles since restoration, and its cosmetic condition is lovely, while all the mechanicals have recently been inspected to ensure proper running and driving condition prior to its sale at auction.
Collector interest in “micro cars” is strong, and fine examples such as this roadster from 1937 are gaining in popularity. A delightful sight at any event, a rare American Bantam roadster is a necessity in any eclectic collection.

ID 940: All The Best :D
ID:940 is actually two extremely ugly cars.
(1) 1973 Mohs SafariKar. Hand made on the International Harvester Travelall platform.
The whole car was made of aluminium alloy.
The rear half of the roof and trunk hinged back. The car was upholstered like a sofa, instead of painted.
(2) 1968 Mohs Ostentatienne Opera Sedan. Didn't have any doors except that peculiar rear hatch.
Both are limited production one-offs and don't deserve to be on this thread at all.

After posting the attached image, I came across an earlier post on Google's reverse image look up ... and it's ridiculously easy to track something down.
Kind of takes the fun out of our little game over here ...
The green number plate means it's Korean.

1912 Hurtu -- a French brand from Paris.
Has the radiator, where the firewall would be on a conventional car.
Karl Bhote and I had been talking about the Brass Era, a while ago.
This is one of those. A historic brand of cars and standalone 49 cc two-stroke IC engines. They shutdown in 1960.

The Moskvich 2141-02 Svjatogor was inspired by the Simca 1308 fwd hatchback which was 1976 European Car of the Year.
The Svjatogor (स्व्याटोगर) is a mythical bogatyr (heroic knight) whose story was told in traditional East Slavic poems called bylinas (были́на).
He was a giant who slept while riding a giant horse.
ID:943 got 99 views. The characteristic stamped steel wheels should have screamed Simca to you. The rest was easy.

Ram, the Simca 1308 hatchback did come up in my guesswork based on the aesthetic lines, but to be honest I would never have gotten this one.
I like this section of Team-BHP. Keeps one challenged :)

1949 Studebaker 8G Champion Regal Deluxe 4-door sedan
This was a not uncommon sight in India and quite probably, some are still extant in India.
Had a 6 cylinder 2,779 cc engine that developed a meagre 80 bhp.
New for 1949 were self-adjusting brakes (drive in reverse and press the brake pedal to adjust) and Automatic hill holder. Dashboard dials had lettering in a special paint that glowed under UV light.
