Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

It's going to be one heck of a race! Change in format due to tyre degradation, mandatory bike/tyre swap. Its hard to imagine Phillip Island without Casey Stoner!

Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

I haven't seen a race like this. Lorenzo fought well for his win. Marc just threw it away. Miscalculation just may cause him his world title! The lead reduced to just 18 points as Marquez was shown black flag for overlooking pit-in

Well, more like his team threw it away for him. Sad. But I agree about the black flag that was shown. It was a safety requirement.

But I really hope motogp doesn't start considering pit stops a la F1.

Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

Decider race today. Marquez & Jorge to fight it all from the front.

Vale & Jeremy Burgess to part ways after the race. Shocking. Deserves a separate thread, but I guess it can be accomodated here only.

Is this anxiety/desperation or a move to get more motivation as Valentino claims?

Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

If Lorenzo is crowned champion today, it would only be because of that black flagged race. Sad.

But hoping Marquez wins though

Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

Lorenzo's pace is almost always everytime I watch him makes my jaw drop, perfect exits and bloody perfect.

Markey is equally talented but his aggressive, ludicrous and lunatic (can't add anymore ) attitude is what makes him stand out of the crowd.

And for love of god, this chap is always a smiling face which I love the most.

Rightly deserved justice for Markey and more to come.

Cheers!

Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

Congrats to a fantastic season and a deserved champion, Marquez. Lorenzo showed he's made of true champion stuff.

A sad bye to the retired Spies. What injuries can do to a fantastic rider and how it can cut short a promising career prematurely. Truly sad.

Still wish Stoner was back though.

2013 was truly a great MotoGP season.

Re: The 2013 Moto GP Season

It was a super race. Great tactics by Jorge to put some pressure. But clearly Rossi wasn't having the pace needed to compete the three. In normal scenario any of the top three would have won. Dani must be pretty upset, he was desperate for win. Jorge did everything to stay infront, he pretty much dictated the terms. Great control by Marc, he did precisely what was needed !
