Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

This weekend didn't turn out to be as bad as I feared after the qualifying upset. Lets see how I stack up in relative terms.

I'm pretty sure no one would have predicted the pole sitter in the predictions

Not me! Despite Williams looking strong I didn't think they'd actually beat Mercedes for the first row but the race results were more or less as I thought would pan out as far as the Merc Vs. Williams battle was concerned.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Here are the FRL results. Deetjohn seems to have taken a good chunk of the lead from arun_josie and should get back to the top once he uses his third bonus. I hope to get near P3 after I use my DP bonus.

With Bonus:

Without bonus:

Thanks Sourav for the GP Predictor updates. Looks like I did okay there and has started closing the gap ahead, even if slightly.

Been consistently mediocre in GP Predictor for some races now.

Good going there. The DP bonus is worth a minimum of 1000 points, so you should aim for P1 as well.

I think HAM and ROS would be on everybody's team and hence their performance, whether good or bad wouldn't really impact the standings.

I don't have hamilton in my team and I think this was the reason for my worst race last week. Planning to include him.

By the way, does it really help because having both of them means we may need to include some non-performers in the team.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Zenren catching up fast I am still continuing with only one Mercedes driver which is becoming a weak link now. May be I will wait for one more race before bringing some changes to the team.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

I thought with Massa going out on the first lap and with Hamilton starting at the back of the grid that my team (ChequeredFlag) was a goner. But Hamilton's run through the field helped.

Castrol was also decent but to be honest I did not make any changes to the lineup after Silverstone .
