Previous race choices will automatically carry over as default for next weekend. You've managed 82 points from this round.

You were bang on. 44 players got it exactly correct for the weekend. But not many got the pole time correct. Yours look good for some goodies. Keep us posted and all the best!

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Here are the results after Spanish GP. As expected, the Hamilton in our group (deetjohn) is sitting at the top of both leagues comfortably.

FRL top 3 are in a league of their own with others trailing by a big margin. First player without DP bonus sits at P13. It'll be interesting to see where P13-16 would slot in once the DP bonus is used. Anything upto P4 seems within reach.

FRL leader board with and without bonus:

Here is the GP Predictor league table:

The situation here is similar to 2014 season. Deetjohn is running away with a comfortable 100-point lead and I seem to be in a relatively safe second place with a 60 point lead. P3-P6 is a fierce battle with just 5 points separating them. It can swing in any direction.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

It's getting very interesting. Wish I had not used DP bonus for this race though; I made 2 critical changes this morning and would have benefited more in the subsequent races. I think I have exhausted team changes so from now on I have very little influence on how my points come .

GP predictor is the tougher one but my problem seems to be that I am blinded by favorites and my choices don't necessarily reflect actual driver performance. It's a long season so hopefully my future choices are better.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

As Dick Dastardly aptly put it, "Drat, drat and double drat!"

Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League-drat.jpg

Who knew Vettel would climb up from P15 to P4 . Thanks a lot, Finger Boy!

I had got the first three laid out nicely in GP Predictor. Thanks to Vettel & Massa, my predictions for the rest of the drivers were completely ruined.

Talking about the race, I think it's the first time I've seen the front runners being lapped by the race leaders . Watching Lewis & Nico come in to lap Kimi & Fernando was just crazy. My wife was watching the race with me, and she was shocked when I told her that it's the Ferraris that are being lapped by the Mercs. She had them confused with the Marussias lol.

Lets hope Mercs can keep up this race pace. Good race overall. It was down to the wire again, in the last few laps! While RBR is the only team, that seems to have made some progress when it comes to catching the mercs, they are still quite lacking in the straight lines. They just don't have the top end pace.

Unlike FRL, GP Predictor allows you to come back with a bang since players can score as low as ~10 or as high as ~200 or more from a weekend based. So it is still very much open for everyone to have a shot at #1 spot.

Personally, This is I think the biggest place drop I've had. I have now made changes. Hope to get back into the top 5 after Canada >_>

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Thanks Maky. I'm at the top of the guys who are yet to take the DP bonus. It was a fruitful weekend and the PS bonus really helped close some of the gap ahead thanks to whatever got into Hamilton's eye

Here is the list after removing the bonus which gives an idea who might catch up once all bonuses are used by everyone. DP bonus weighs roughly 900-1000 points and hence the guys yet to take it would eventually close that margin. I've managed to get into P5 excluding the bonuses.

Coming to GP predictor, st1gg3r has made up 2 places and closed the gap ahead with a strong performance of 80 points and is all over my rear view mirror for P2.

Ferrari_freak and Octane_power have closed the gap ahead with 45-55 points while most others are in the 25-35 range for the weekend.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Absolutely disastrous round. I had a strong hunch that Rosberg will get both pole and win like last year. But decided to go with my expert calculations and readings from free practice which stated otherwise.

Hope Niki can interfere effectively and prevent a Mercedes tangle in the upcoming races.

You went with HAM for pole/win?
I lost out similarly for one of my bonuses in Australia. DNF : ' (

Yeah. No wonder I was as disturbed as Lewis after Q3.

And I blew the Pole Sitter bonus on Lewis at Albert Park too. Hope Canada doesn't go like 2008 for Lewis.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Here is the standings after Canada.

FRL: We have a new leader! Well done arun_josie.

With Bonus:

Without Bonus:

GP Predictor: Since no one expected a non-Mercedes win, points from this round are relatively lesser for everyone.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Thanks again Zen.
Arun has seriously pulled away! Although I wait to see what Speedster has to show : P

Mercedes Failures did indeed hurt me. In the FRL and in real life : ' (.

Re: Team-BHP's F1 Fantasy League

Nice to take the lead especially when some seasoned campaigners are in the game. Yes, some of them are still to use the bonus points and hence there is every chance to catch me.

Something that hurt me was the Perez-Massa crash and obviously the Merc issue as well.
arun_josie is online now   (2) Thanks
