Re: Formula 1: 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix - Sakhir (27-29 November)

Hopefully we will be able to see George's first points in F1. Hope he doesn't succumb to the additional pressure and make a mistake.

This should be interesting, and also a test for people who have been going "its the car, not the driver". I think podium should be expected in that case.
Also, a final kind of opportunity for Bottas to prove himself, else Russell just might end up replacing him.

Agreed, if George is unable to make it on to the podium it should silence all the critics. Nonetheless, this is a perfect opportunity for George to remind the world of his skills which are unfortunately not used to their full potential with the car Williams provide.

It is truly going to be an interesting weekend with high expectations on Max to win, George to score his first points, a podium position up for grabbing, etc. Can't wait for this weekend.

Re: Formula 1: 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix - Sakhir (27-29 November)

I read that Grosjean got out of the car in the very short (few seconds) window. Even then he is in hospital and will miss the next one.

With Lewis out due to the Pandemic, so he has to be replaced. I hear Fittipaldi Jr may get a seat.

I will not be surprised if Mercedes again pull out of the F1 circus. Has happened in the past. With Honda going slow, they may also have poorer engines! So F1 may be due for big changes.

A very interesting video recording the responses by the drivers once the red flag was out after Grosjean's crash.

A 3D animation video showing the importance of halo and how it saved Romain from an instant death
