I just hope he doesn't end up last in all races. Anyways I pray that he gets some good results and performs [for a start] better than the Minardi's and Red Bull Racing drivers.

Let us all be very realistic for a while okay ...
Narains fellow drivers are
Michael Schumacher / Rubens Barrichello --- Ferrari
Kimi Raikkonen / Juan Pablo Montoya ------- Mclaren
Jenson Button / Takuma Sato ------------- BAR Honda
Fisichella / Fernando Alonso --------------- Renault
Mark Webber / Nick Heidfeld --------------- BMW Williams
Villeneuve / Massa ------------------------ Sauber
Ralf / Jarno Trulli -------------------------- Toyota
David / Luizzi, Klien ------------------------ Red Bull F1
Plus his team mate ------------------------ Jordan
Albers + undecided ------------------------ Minardi

All this guys are his immediate rivals .. ALL of them have been racing and are in very good cars ... Narain at the best can outqualify Minardi because of his superior equipment ... BUT if he has to highlight and show his talent I am sure he has to beat Toyota's , RedBulls atleast occassionally ... He will have to outqualify and Beat his team mate regularly ... so its a stiff battle for our Hero yet, But i wish it all turns out the way they show in our Indian Films .......... HERO WINS IN THE END

team Jordan says deal is not done yet and they will announce their driver lineup after twoo weeks ..
Quote:
The silly season is coming to an exciting end for Jordan Formula One fans. The team is the only team left in the paddock that has not announced any of its 2005 drivers yet. Indian Karthikeyan has been offered a drive his manager was quoted saying.
Sanjay Sharma, Karthikeyan's manager, said in a Reuters report: "Narain has been offered a drive by Jordan as their number one. He has accepted."

The Jordan team denies a deal has been signed at the moment but could reveal to F1Racing.net: "We will announce our drivers within two weeks."

Drivers that are rumoured to be close to a Jordan deal are Robert Doornbos, Narain Karthikeyan and Anthony Davidson

I guess Mr. Jordan seen the Speed ad too. Jaguar Racing and Stewart Ford [the same thing] played a very bad game with him. Kept him waiting and gave all possible excuses to postpone his testing with the team. Finally, when he did test with the team they said he was good but never gave him a chance to prove anything.

Narain Karthikeyan is on the verge of becoming the first Indian to drive in Formula One if he secures a sponsorship package to race for Jordan.

Jordan sporting director Trevor Carlin told BBC Sport the team were in talks with Karthikeyan and that a deal was "not finalised, but is very close."

The team have offered the 28-year-old the drive, but he must finalise sponsorship before the deal could be completed.

So what was all that on NDTV. They sent news flashes every 5 secs saying NK would be racing this season and that he has been selected.
