Not until their entire package F61 + Alonso + Massa come together
Add to it the new twist (read as rules) from FIA

Renault isn't building championship winning cars anymore. Kimi wants to go to a team which can potentially win championships. Renault are on a downhill after the tyre war stopped.

McLaren said they want to announce their line up by soon. So we will know in a week or two.

Kimi is either going to McLaren or will not race next year. so it means Mr Mallya can take him up. That would be impressive.

Autosport reports that Kimi Raikkonen only considers Mclaren as an option for next year . So it is Mclaren or nothing in f1 . Rallying , other motorsports or just chilling are other options for the iceman .
Toyota meanwhile have thus far failed to capitalise at any movements in the driver market . The same link says that they might recruit Adrain Sutil and Heiiki Kovy .

But is Kimi McLaren's only option? Obviously not. So why is Kimi making it harder for himself to negotiate with McLaren by stating that no other team is good enough? Answer: He's already signed up!

Kimi-Mclaren deal might already be through! But, I still feel Kimi is negotiating terms of agreement with Mclaren. He wants his time out from F1 during a season to participate in rallies and I read there were also discussion regarding Kimi's level of involvement in promotional activities.

Thats a very interesting point . I just hope he stays in F1 .

In other news Barrichello in an interview to autosport says
Quote:
Q. Is there a chance of you staying at Brawn?
RB: There is. There is always a good chance to announce myself here as well.
Q. But Williams seems to be the main team you are linked with, and some say the deal is done?
RB: Well, Williams has always been a team that anyone would have a look at. That is no different right now. Everyone would look at a position at Williams, because it is one of the best teams out there – and it is on the way up. So I am definitely looking at that.
Q. So are you waiting for Brawn to make its mind up?
RB: No, I'm waiting for the season to end and just to come out and tell you everything I have to say. Right now, I'm not waiting for Jenson to do this, or some others to do that. My mind is pretty well fixed, but it is not the right time to talk about that right now.
I guess a swap between Roseberg and Barrichello is a done deal .

Williams will anounce its drivers on Monday.
Also :
Frank Williams has just confirmed what rumours already suggested . Roseberg is to move to a Merc powered team .
Quote:
"We will announce our drivers for next season on Monday," he said. "[Nico Rosberg] will be leaving and we just thought it was quite a long time.
"There are a few things going on at Williams for next season, with our engines, so we thought we can do better. Nico is German and Mercedes need at least one German driver to sit before their engine."
