Quite sad for them. Dunno why drivers rate Williams and Renault higher than Toyota who have done better.

Their only hope is for Nick Heidefeld. Looks like they might keep Kobiyashi to keep the Japanese fans happy,

In spite of having big budget, Toyota haven't managed to convert it into good points. Probably thats why Toyota isn't rated highly. Even this year, they were 3rd/4th best team at the start, but they couldn't maintain that for long and have fallen back.

Williams has confirmed Barrichello and Hulkenberg for 2010.

Now, wonder who takes the seat in Brawn GP in place of Rubens.

Cheers.

Seems the fastest man on earth has two options if he is to remain competitive in 2010 : McLaren or Brawn( re-iteration of what I'd said earlier).

In McLaren he has a problem, Hamilton won't like a strong racer as a mate. Also the latter is Dennis's blue eyed boy, so Kimi might not be treated fairly- but this is his best chance.

In Brawn, he will do well with Ross B, who is a canny professional.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for him - if he opts out and goes rallying, see me watching WRC and it is bye bye F1!

Williams now has a strong driver pairing blending experience and youth . If only they could come up with a fast car next year . They havent won in a long time . Cosworth engines are another unknown quantity .

I am following a similar thread on Atlas F1 and came across a thread where Alonso has asked for a investigation on Michael's contract with Ferrari for 2010.

Pretty lame and the dirty spanian is already making fireworks at Ferrari. IIRC Alonso wants Rob Smedley to be his race engineer as well and there are talks going on in Ferrari at the moment!

God save Ferrari!

Well honestly, Ferrari would do well to give him what he wants because, at the end of the day, he is the chap with the better shot at the WDC. They signed him up knowing these sort of things would crop up.

As for Rob Smedley, lol. Is it gonna be Fernando baby now?

hey, this is a good 2010 grid thread. But there are still too many questions and open positions. I can't remember the last time the driver seats were so undecided this late into the year. I really hope Kimi manages to stay in the sport for the near future. He seems to have only 1 realistic option.

Best for Mc Laren to sign on Button instead of wasting money on Kimi.
