Ferrari !

My guess on top 3 drivers in this race :
  • Alonso
  • Vettel
  • Hamilton
The race should be as exciting as it was last year.

Glad to join you in Singapore Pavan

Neo, your top 3 list is looking really good.

Ive been lucky enough to have experienced the inaugural race in Singapore.
The street circuit, the night race factor along with the city Singapore itself, makes this one out to be one of the most thrilling experiences Ive had.
The city wears fantastic atmosphere of a true international sporting event with people coming in for this event from all over the world. The facilities, bus and train services were fantastic and the Singapore people in particular, including the security & numerous volunteers were always helpful and warm, I just fell in love with Singapore.

In comparison to Sepang, biggest difference I felt is that here the spectators (walkabout) are very very close to the track, since its a street circuit and secondly with all the buildings around, the sound of the cars is further amplified thus making the experience literally 'mind-blowing' .

Lets hope Delhi matches up (or thereabouts) to Singapore in 2011.

It is the return of a high down-force track and the Red-Bulls will be licking their lips. Ferrari seem to have progressed with the down-force issue but there is a question mark over McLaren with their EBD.

Anyways the final races are going to be exciting and a night race adds to the excitement.

I think it will be a repeat of Hungary with Vettel or Webber taking the win and Alonso coming second, the other Red-Bull or Massa or Lewis to take third.

I would be happy if Alonso is able to win here. He has done well in the last two races there.

Also McLaren Rulez will be there as a flag marshall at turn5 notifying drivers of the status of the track. I hope he gets to 'blue flag' atleast one of the McLaren drivers(just kidding)

Congrats McLarenRulez! Hope u have a great race weekend!

With the flexi wing test being more stringent, its evident that Redbull are struggling slightly. The previous two circuits were power tracks so it would be interesting to see how all the top teams fare at singapore.
I expect redbull and ferrari to do well with mclaren being 3-4th. Also Renault will be mixing it up with the brilliant Kubica.
Its a tough call really, I hope McLaren does well, although I know a podium is the best we can expect this weekend.

chaps, third year running i will be attending the Singapore GP. i consider that quite lucky and am thankful for it. the inaugural race was of course, brilliant, as with every new venue.

the second year only got better. singapore has made F1 a festival and its the next best thing after christmas in london or diwali (anywhere in india )

hope the third year is equally good if not better. race-wise we've seen everything - fixing, safety cars, crashes, fuel rigs dragged down the pit lane, even some overtaking. this year, the one thing missing seems to be in the mix - RAIN.

so heres hoping to a great SGP weekend. other bhp-ians heading to Singapore, see you there. I'l be the only one wearing a Force India shirt, Kimi-McLaren cap and cheering for any great racing moves, booing none (unless RB and MS get wall-banging again). gimme a shout if your gonna be there

Okay, I've put a picture up on the other thread. Since this is the race thread, let's leave this for the race itself.

Way to go McLaren Rulez, have a great time. Lotsa guys envious of you. Will keep a lookout for you.

Jaguar : the premier walkabout tickets should be fantastic, with more coverage area. IMO the walkabouts are better than some of the granstand ones, much more freedom to move around and pick your spot, coming much cheaper of course is a bonus.
Have a great one, keep us posted on the experience.
