@no_limit: Bro, something actually made me think that you owned the prev. gen SL. I thought it was a 2003 model but it's a 2008, that's great. Awesome ride and awesome pics.

Its just that I like the looks of previous generation SL more than this current one and I have mentioned that on a few posts here as well. You might have read one of those mate. I am glad you liked the SL.

Many thanks for your appriciation mate. Yes the wheels are 19" AMG high-sheen finish alloys. I have attached a close up of the wheels. Hope you will like them.
You are right I like Mercs in Black. It was always my childhood dream to one day own a black merc, and by the grace of God, when I got a chance of fulfiling my dream then there was only one colour to go for.
Wait till you see the pic of E 280. Its in black as well.

What are the tyres that are shod on the cars? I can see the SL has Michelins. Which Michelins?

Any of the cars running Conti tyres?

Awesome collection by the way. It's totally a dream collection.

Calling you a Merc Fanatic would be an understatement wouldn't it?

Nice Pics. I think a ML is what lacks in your garage now

SL has got Michelin Pilot Sport 285/30 19
None of the cars has got Continentals.
Many thanks for your appreciation.

I love mercs and I still have all those pictures of merc that I collected when I was a kid.
As a matter of fact I am thinking in terms of replacing my E with another car sometime in 2009. I have 3 mercs in mind.
1) The New E class which is due for launch.
2) The CL 500 or
3) ML 320 CDI.

In terms of looks I have always liked the prev. gen.(R230) more than the new one. I personally don't like the headlights on the new one, but still, it's a great car to own.

Yes Even That's what I feel odd about the new SL. The lights and sheet metal looks stretched from front. Some how I find the new SLK better looking in terms of balance.

Hi no-limt! You have a great collection there. I always wanted a SL but couldn't afford one. your S class is amazing and I can imagine Merc only in one color-Black. I like your new SL front though, Is the ride smooth enough on this since you complained about your S class for its bigger wheels earlier! Also howz the noise level in SL compared to S or E class.
