Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Brake pads are wear & tear items, and will not be covered in schedule replacements. But then, they could require replacement at any time, depending on usage. Occasionaly due to faulty parts which can wear out faster than they should..

Fortuner : so did you ask for the change quoting some issue or they did it on their own ? I think if TML is allowing changes of wear and tear parts without much hassles, the AMC is worth it.

Fortuner, I had the same Bridgestone HT on my Scorpio 4x4. Did some decent off-road with the tyre and it ran for over 60K kilometers, the spare was still in almost new condition. If you are happy with the tyres, don't waste money trading them in. They will run for ever...

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Fortuner, since you had to get Hellas fitted were the original lights inadequate for night driving? The excellent review here from tsk showed super beam throws.
Please post pictures of your beast's original lights!
Your ownership thread is rapidly convincing me to go for a Storme instead of the XUV or a pre-worshipped Fortuner or Pajero!

Hi I perfectly agree that original high and low beams are good enough. But in some cases wherein you do lonely stretches in the night the feel for extra throw of light is there. That's why I went in for a extra lights . I regularly do night drives on the highways and I make sure I use the lights only on 4 lane highways with a median.

I have done 17k as of now and never faced any issues , the beast is fantastic to drive and brings a smile every time I do. The ride quality is just amazing.

Fortuner : which check up is this at 20k ? Is it a paid service you are getting done over and above the recommended intervals ?
