Sorry for the delay. From what I recollect only the Master cylinder was changed and clutch fluid bled. In fact when I had this issue the gears refused to slot and I had to drive the car in second gear to the service center.

Suggest you to change the water + coolant solution.

From what you have explained, I assume, car is running on coolant only.
All the water would have evaporated due to the excess heat generated while running with a non functional radiator fan.
Yes sure. After detecting the issue of low coolant level, I had topped it up using water only. Not sure whether the workshop guys added coolant on top of that, once they were done with the fan replacement. Will check with them and add coolant, if required. Thanks for that heads-up kpzen !

Re: Hyundai Verna CRDI - 100,000 Kms and Beyond

Hi, I am a proud owner of verna crdi 2009 model. The odo crossed 111111 yesterday. I am now facing issues with initial pick up especially 2nd gear before the turbo kicks in. Got the EGR cleaned as advised by ASA but no improvement. Can anyone advise on what the potential problem could be? The vehicle still clocks high speeds easily. Thanks

Get the intercooler cleaned too. If possible clean the intake manifold also once. You'll notice the difference after the cleaning activities have been performed (if done correctly by ASC).

Thank you for the quick reply. The ASA confirmed to have cleaned the intake manifold and the intercooler. But the issue persists. He suggested to try the additives..
