Hi. I also own a Nisssan Sunny XL diesel. It's a 2012 model. One thing I have learnt from my ownership of this vehicle is about Japanese reliability. Their cars are built to perfection. I bought my sunny as a second owner car, when it had done 48k in 4 years. Since then, I have taken the ODO to 96k. There is not a single rattle/ malfunctioning part in the car. Hats off to japanese engineering l.

That's the one USP (or only USP) making Nissan to sustain in market still.
My car was rattle free until I opened the trims multiple times to upgrade ICE and other stuffs. It took me so many attempts to arrest those rattle later. Not to miss, the overall satisfaction with the car remains good

80k km service update

Completed the 80k service sometimes in Nov'20 except wheel balancing and alignment, that's done now.

Unfortunately the Nissan service centre in my town (Ramani Nissan) was closed and I'm left with the option of travelling a little longer or get it serviced from FNG. Obviously I took the 2nd option

Ordered the filters from Boodmo and Oil from Amazon (HP Neosynth - semi synthetic)

Condition of Air filter

Area near suction tube is more dirtier, I wish the filter is reversed at 5k km interval

No words about the cabin filter

Dude...those diamond cut alloys are amazing, totally matches the car. Can you give the details i.e. the specs, make and price if you don't mind? Also, for the Blaupunkt system, is it compatible with the steering remote controls? I saw that specifically for Sony but not sure of this. The price is really good for what it offers. Connected any rear camera?

Yes, they are very much compatible (programable)

7+ years and 81k+ on odo

Changed the brake pads as a preventive maintenance due to the age and flushed the circuit with Dot4 fluid

Hardly few mm wear and it should last another 50k km easily

Switched back to OE wheels for a change.

8 years and 86k km update

And ICE upgrade happened in Aug 2021. Damped all doors with STP

Added Nakamichi 8ch DSP. Running front 2 way active setup and wiring prepared for 3 way active. 7th CH is dummy for now and 8th used for Sub woofer. Rear speakers are driven by HU directly.
