Lexus RX 500H period.

Supremly comfortable and luxurious, standout in the crowd of Mercs and Bimers, relaible workhorse - can easily do 1.5 lakh Km or 10 years. 500H surprisingly nice to drive. Fuel economy is a bonus. Of course, I think the seats in 350h are plusher, but do check the car out for sure. The car is brand new, was launched only weeks ago.

Also in BLR the roads are horrible, get SUVs in any case.
