Why don't you just go to Arush (Autopsyche) and get it done??

Haha! I bothered him with this too.

Btw, why dont you just buy it off him and do a DIY back home!

I tried to search for it at places too for DIY, but was unsuccessful.

Was able to find the mesh grille in Delhi, thanks to autopsyche for the lead. Went to Chawri bazaar near Ajmeri gate, there you'll find grille's of all shapes and designs, however was not all shops sell in loose quantity as they are mostly wholesalers. The shop where I bought the grill is opp the chawri bazaar metro station. Price was 400 for 4x4 sq.ft. mesh.

I am planning to buy a local front grill for my WagonR and then work on it, keep the original grill just incase the mod goes wrong

the swift grille looks yummy!!!!

WOW now that is what I had been looking for forever, asked Arush to use this but he could not find it. This is NOT mesh BUT perforrated metal. Looks good & is very sturdy relative to the mesh !!

Cheers

This type of mesh is available in plenty in chawri bazaar, which Arush recommended

Its available in various sizes and thickness, some are thin to be given any shape, sturdy but not flimsy.

I saw a accessories shop in Karol Bagh which had the wire mesh, you can get it installed there if you want a jugaad type grille, or you can go to autopsyche's workshop also in Karol Bagh if you want a pro job
