Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Stanced VRS of my buddy on BC Racing Coilovers. Next upgrade is wider rims with 215 tires.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Everything is legal in KL until you are booked.

AFAIK people were fined for using low profile tires.
1. MVD official stated that its illegal to run on tires below 50 profile and you are not supposed to up-size your alloys.
2. Its illegal to use performance filters in cars
3. Stickers stuck on cars are illegal
4. Using auxiliary lamps are illegal even if its not functional.
5. A rto even booked a friends petrol swift saying it was more powerful and it had internal modification.

That's the scene in Kerala. If u are stopped you are booked and you are forced to pay an amount of 2000 or above. If you ask the reason then you end up paying double. Its like shut up and pay.

Its is more than just poor picture quality. It is also poor execution. I'm not saying it is Whacy or Weird, but its not something that you would call Tastefully Modified.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Honestly, this thread is really getting polluted with too much randomness. There needs to be a mod filter before the pictures make it to the thread.

nope, it does not belong here. sorry mate.
I agree with you Ironhawk because the title of the thread says Tastefully Modified cars. There's not much modification done on this car except for the small mods like chrome ORVM, alloys and sports steering(don't exactly remember) etc. But it can't go into Wierd and Wacky Mod jobs either because its an old car and has been maintained neatly. So I thought of putting it up here. I think a thread named "Neatly maintained Cars" would have been appropriate.
Cheers

More pictures of the wheels on the Micra.

Looking at the amount of lowered cars with low-profile tyres, Kerala seems to have some really smooth roads. These same cars would not last for more than a week if driven around on Mumbai's roads (are they called roads??)

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

I'm an avid reader of the wacky mods thread.
But came across the tastefully modified thread just today!

Posting some tastefully modified vehicles by my cousin brother with his own ideas!

Love his amby mod (now sold off)
The quality ,detailing is awesome and is crafted to perfection!
I've never been in love with amby this much! (Exception of DC's Ambirod concept)

Who wouldn't love the gypsy?
Especially when on Alloyed Geolander's and in Black.
My Gypsy mod project will be headed by him for sure

Swift I like, but deep dish rims look ugly as hell on tiny hatches.

Thats one helluva maintained motor. . Love the paint job, meshed grills, radials, et all. The ORVMs seem a tad too large (personal opinion).
