Guess I saw this Duster @ Road & Tracks, Kottayam. I had been there on Friday and a very similar Duster was parked in front of it. Looked SUPER HOT! I was drooling at the car for the whole time I was there.

Those wheels were to die for! The roof racks added to the style!

Those Polos are smoking HOT. Loved some of the alloy wheels. Where are those car getting modified in Cochin?

I am not a big fan of the Civic here. Though its has nothing to do with the car or the mad, its a matter of personal taste.

But this yellow Cedia looks absolutely smashing! Love the way the car carries the colour and also the subtle, yet bloody impressive mods. Would have liked an EVO style rear spoiler though, bust still overall a very good work!

Love the cedia more than the civic in this particular pic.The tail lampsdusnt match with the rest of the appearance but the cedia is looking amazing in that bright yellow shade. The spoiler could have been better. But overall very neat modifications.

Thats a nice find.Only the mototrmind sticker is a mismatch.A rear diffuser twin exhaust and some AMG batches will complete the look IMO.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Featured here is a TATA sumo GRANDE which was originally developed by TATA Motors alongside XENON sharing the same platform.
This project was awarded to us by TATA Motors to gauge public response for a more modern looking SUV based on the GRANDE, strict guidelines were given to only tamper with the soft body (i.e. bumper sections, grille, cladding etc.) without making any changes in the metal body sections as it would involve major development cost if any of our design cues were incorporated in the commercial production stage later. The main objective of this exercise was to study the possibilities on how to modernize the now dated looking GRANDE and make it look more urban, contemporary and SUV-ish rather than MUV-cab image it carries.
We are most grateful to TATA Motors and their supportive marketing team for deciding to use the local design talent available in the country and giving us this opportunity.
We have tried to give it a macho looking SUV look by re-designing the front bumper–grille combo, adding an innovative rear door embellishment and a fresh rear bumper as well. Floating side steps were fabricated with courtesy lighting incorporated in the un-missable brand tag “XENON” re-christened all over. Head lights - tail lights settings were re arranged using projectors and LEDs to be in-sync with today’s time. Ultramarine blue – matt grey combination was chosen to complete the look with blacked out original wheels and smoked glass house area.
We at Big daddy Customs seriously feel that GRANDE is the most under rated product in TATA’s stable, wouldn't it have been better if it was originally launched as a ‘xenon” three cab variant rather than associating the Sumo brand name with it? What’s your take?

That's a striking car.The choice of colour, the front end and the rear allare pretty loud yet i am quite liking it except the front end which to me looks like incomplete. The best part is the name written in the side door step.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

^Agree, The color and finishing are awesome! So are the alloys. Absolutely loved them.
But its the front that doesnt quite go with the vehicle. IMO, that needs some work. The bumper looks a tad too big for the car.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

While it's decent, it remains to be seen if the modifications will stand the test of time. Such modifications tend to look cheesy and horrendous a few years down the line, especially if the car isn't cleaned or taken care of.

Who else believes that there's an element of DC in this Grande?

Front end is way too fussy, and unnecessarily aggressive looking (bordering on ugly). Clean lines suit Grande a lot more. That's why I like what you have done with the side profile and the rear. Alloys look good too.
