This is such a simple thing for Mahindra to do. When I had my Bolero in 2005 I remember writing to everyone possible at Mahindra asking why this absolutely simple thing could not be done for this vehicle which is after all, meant to be an utility vehicle which ought to be able to carry both passengers and loads.
The Bolero is a first class Jeep in many ways but mine had that old 63
Bhp Peugeot XD3PU engine without a Turbo and it used to cry to keep up with faster traffic on highways. But in the hills and on bad roads it was a fantastic extremely tough yet comfortable 'chugger'.
They still have this successful platform. How hard can it really be for them to rejig it and make it into a modern classic? |
